Role of hematopoietic reprogramming in myocardial damage after allogeneic transplantation
We will examine the effects of allogeneic transplantation on reprogramming of the hematopoietic system, thereby amplifying myocardial injury. WP1 maps bone-marrow remodeling using flow cytometry, single-cell omics, and spatial BM imaging. WP2 examines how this priming worsens secondary myocardial infarction. WP3 establishes human relevance in humanized mice and cardiac organoids. WP4 identifies metabolic drivers and explores the effects of genetic/pharmacologic interventions.
