Integrated Research Training Group

The promotion of young medical and clinician scientists is a central goal of the CRC. Therefore, the Integrated Research Training Group (IRTG) will provide basic and CRC-specific training for PhD students, MD students, associated MD and PhD students as well as junior postdoctoral fellows. The training programme will focus on ensuring a strong foundation education in cardiovascular physiology and pathophysiology, with a particular focus on crosstalk with in the stroma vascular compartment, the acute and regenerative phases of the response to damage and hands on training in bioinformatics and the analysis of large data sets.
